Description
Pre-owned no box but will be well packaged for safe delivery to your home Originally designed by Jean W. Jean in 1964 The Shoe is in very good to excellent condition with label to base and fully marked on bottom, comes with COA # 22 of 1000. It is believed that only 250 to 300 were made because of productions difficulties. It is a rare find. There is a small mark on lid of cap on one character but believe it is a factory flaw as it is very smooth so not a chip. When you look at photos you can see it does not effect the wonder of the piece. It is the last piece made in Burnley, England. COA is also signed by Jean when she attended the auction in Nov. 2005 where it was purchased. Piece measures 32 cm X 18 cm deep X 26 cm high Because of problems with pedestal which holds up the heavy roof the early pieces have been known to break off at base so shipping became a problem. I have wrapped this piece up very well with lots of protection on the pedestal base so hopefully it will not snap off but I cant be held responsible if this should happen. Buyer must be aware of this as no refund will be given if that happens. Pick up is always available at no fee or meeting up at exchange. Cost of shipping is very dear because of weight and protection provided around the piece. Please ask for a quote to your home as it could be cheaper than shown on listing. Please look at photos and ask any questions before you bid Please see my other auctions. UPDATE ON SHIPPING RATES FROM CANADA: There has been an increase on surcharges for fuel from Canada Post so unfortunately I have to pass this on to my buyers. I do refund any overpayment on shipping when item has been put in the mail. E-Bay requires sellers to show a shipping rate to listings for Canada and USA websites so please understand these rates posted on my auction listings are an ESTIMATE. Shipping from Canada depends on postal code, zip code, weight and size of parcel so please inquire for your correct rate then there are no surprises at end of auction. Your rate may be less than listed, so ask. I do my best to get the best rate for you and I will always refund an overpayment once all fees are paid through e-bay. CANADIAN BIDDERS: Please provide postal code USA BIDDERS: Please provide zip code and state INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS: Please provide country. I will ship to United Kingdom, Australia and Japan but ask about shipping rates. All others must ask about shipping to their country before they bid. I DO NOT ship to Italy, Africa, Republic of China, Russia, South America, Mexico or certain European & Asian countries. Worldwide shipping is getting very expensive from Canada so it is very important to ask about rates to your home. All custom or duty fees are the buyer’s responsibility. I do wrap and protect all items very well for shipping as I am a collector also and I appreciate when items arrive safely and in good shape. Leaving good feedback is also very important to complete your e-bay experience. Once I see yours I will leave good feedback for you. If you have any problems with your item please contact me first for fast service. I want a happy buyer. Thanks for reading.
