Description

An absolutely beautiful limited edition work of art by the Fenton glass company of West Virginia. Produced to celebrate the 95th year of operation, 1905-2000, there were only 2750 of these jars produced in this style. Each one was individually numbered, this one was number 888. Words cannot fully describe the beauty of this awesome three part set. I have included numerous pictures of various angles showing these features. The jar was designed by J K Spindler as documented by his signature inside the lid. The bottom of the jar has the signature of C Griffittis who was the decorator as well as 12 signatures of members of the Fenton family. The 95th anniversary label can be seen in several pictures. The entire jar with plinth base and lid measures 8 1/4” tall and approximately 6” across the widest part of the body. After closer examination of all three pieces, no repairs or damage noted. The decoration appears intact with none missing. The label is in excellent condition. There is no staining or residue on the inside from use. Looks brand new fresh out of the box! Please view all pictures as they are considered part of the description. Please note that I have added $3.55 for handling charges which covers the insurance for shipping this item safely. Please check back to my listings often as I will be posting numerous fine examples of glass, pottery and porcelain in the near future. Thank you.
